In Setup, Advanced Setup, Show Features, enable Dental Schools.

The Dental Schools feature can be used to create and manage classes, courses, grading scales, evaluations, and more.

Dental School Classes

Dental School Classes refer to the group of students (e.g., Hygiene Class of 2026). Easily add classes that can be assigned to Dental School Providers (i.e., students).

Dental School Courses

Individual courses can be created and managed.

Dental School Permissions

Easily define which User Group students or instructors are assigned to determine available security permissions.

Instructors

Easily create providers as instructors, so they can manage approvals, evaluations, and more for students in a course.

Instructor Planner

From the Instructor Planner, instructors can easily manage their courses and take action as needed.

Students

Providers can be easily created as students to access course details and requirements from Open Dental.

Student Planner

The Student Planner lets students keep up with their course schedule, appointments, requirements, and more.
