Problem List

The master problem list contains all problems that can be attached to a patient's problem list.

In the Main Menu, click Lists, Problems.

Alternatively, in the Medical area of the Chart Module, Problems tab, click Add Problem.

Problems are medical conditions or other factors that affect the health of patients. In order for a problem to be added to a patient's Medical information, it must first be added to the master list. The list contains all problems that have previously been added to patients or that users have added to the list.

Search Area: Filter the list by ICD9, ICD10, SNOMED CT code, or by Description. As the user enters criteria, the list updates with matching results.

Add: Click to add a new problem to the master list.

Sort Options: If accessed via the Main Menu, problems can be reordered or sorted alphabetically. These options do not appear when the Problems list is opened via the Medical area of the Chart Module.

Merge: To merge duplicate problems, highlight both problems from the list, then click to combine them. Problems are merged into the topmost problem. Re-order problems to merge them into the correct option.

Add or Edit a Problem

Click Add to create a new problem or double-click an existing problem to edit.
